Alan Medvin, Co-founder & CEO
A consummate professional, Alan is best known for his deep market expertise, level-headed approach, and creative deal structuring. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Fire Island real estate market, making him equally adept at assisting the experienced investor, the first time buyer, and everyone in between.
Emily Schock, Senior Project Manager
Emily’s passion for real estate and design was first ignited by watching numerous real estate and home improvement television shows. She decided to turn her interest into a career and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied Interior Design. After living in New York City during college, Emily knew that returning to the beautiful south shore of Long Island and working at the beach was where she was meant to be.
Nicolette Boccia, Assistant Project Manager
Nicolette’s life-long passion for architecture and construction was passed down to her from her father who owned a masonry company on Long Island. Starting at a very young age, Nicolette would join her dad on job sites where she began learning the ins-and-outs of construction and design first-hand. She loved getting her hands dirty and, of course, seeing the metamorphosis each project underwent from start to finish. From these experiences, Nicolette unquestionably chose a career path in construction and studied architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. During her studies and immediately after receiving her Bachelors of Architecture degree, she worked in the commercial sector of architecture and construction, designing and project managing buildings in New York City. Her passion has always lied in the residential sector of architecture which led her to Build Fire Island where she is using her architectural knowledge and construction experience to design homes on Fire Island.
